قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ( 1 )

Jeg søker tilflukt hos menneskenes Herre,

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ( 2 )

menneskenes Konge,

إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ( 3 )

menneskenes Gud,

مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ( 4 )

mot ondt fra den smygende frister,

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ( 5 )

som hvisker i menneskenes hjerter,

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ( 6 )

av dsjinner eller mennesker.
